(I’m using the word man throughout this post, because of the evidence that men keep far more, and far more harmful, secrets than women; because I’m interested in how some men’s secret lives are shaped by hatred of women; and because a few of the signs of secrecy (such as penile symptoms of STIs) are sex-specific.
