As you’ve probably noticed – whether you’ve been a subscriber to In Her Nature from the beginning, or just from the last week – I write about a rather wide range of issues. These include:

· feminist analyses of abuse

· historical and contemporary narratives about men limiting women’s freedoms

· how women – past and present, and around the world – survive and even thrive after trauma

· grief, loss and widowhood

· women’s experiences in ‘the great outdoors’

· the history of women’s sport

· Buddhism and mindfulness (and other philosophies of emotion), and their relationship to feminism

· DIY, interior design, making things, gardening

· advice and recommendations regarding camping, hiking, trail- and ultra-running, and other outdoor activities
